Joe Biden and Paul Ryan were the butt of most of the jokes last week on Saturday Night Live and now it’s President Obama and Mitt Romney’s turn.

SNL opened the show last night with Barack Obama (Jay Pharoah) and Mitt Romney (Jason Sudeikis) at the second Presidential debate.

The late night show joked about how Obama’s poor performance in the first debate was blamed on the altitude.

Pharoah, who started playing Obama on SNL this year, said : “This isn’t Colorado anymore Governor … This is sea-level.”

The skit also poked fun at Romney’s wealth. Jason Sudeikis said: “Why don’t you go sit down before I beat you with my paycheck.”

Obama and Romney bickered throughout the skit and moderator Candy Crowley did her best to keep them from physically attacking one another.

Crowley said: “Governor Romney, I want to remind you that threatening the life of the president is a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment. And for your part Mr. President, threatening a former governor of Massachusetts is a class-B misdemeanor, involving a fine of no less than $50 and no more than $150.”

The skit also included a cameo from Tom Hanks. Hanks recently dropped the F-bomb on live TV but he managed to keep it clean last night on SNL .

Hanks, who played an undecided voter, said: “This is really a pretty good question. I just say by way of a warning — you better buckle your seat belts because this question is about to blow your mind.”

Here’s the skit from SNL.

The show also mocked Brad Pitt’s new ad for Chanel No. 5. The ad was ridiculed by bloggers for being incoherently sexy. Here’s a look at SNL’s take on Brad Pitt’s new ad.
