Selena Gomez is taking it all off for the sake of her Revival . The “Good For You” singer teased fans with a super sexy look at the possible cover of her upcoming album.
Selena Gomez, 23, has been ruthlessly promoting her first mature album since leaving Disney’s Interscope records. She finally released the album artwork, which features Gomez partially nude . Gomez released what appears to be a topless photo of herself on Tuesday, Sept. 8. She may even be nude, but it looks like she’s wearing black underwear in the photo.
Selena shared the following sexy black-and-white photo on Instagram with the following caption : “REVIVAL 10.9.” Selena has previously hinted that her new album will include a lot of sexy bops like “Good For You,” which is the lead single. Before posting the topless or nude photo, Selena shared a teaser message saying, “This is my…” It was a lead up to her second post, which says, “Revival.”
She has previously hinted on social media that she has so many secrets to share with her fans. It looks like Selena’s using her music to tell her side of the story, as noted in her previous interview with Entertainment Weekly .
“I’ve lived such a public life that I understand that I’m under a microscope. That has taken me into so many different phases. It’s made me depressed and it’s made me happy and it’s made me grateful and humble – but [I’ve learned] it’s okay to let down my walls with my music, to feel sexy and good.”
She also teased that she’s been inspired by sexy pop singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. In fact, it looks like Selena’s album will be inspired by Xtina’s Stripped album.
“I grew up with Britney and NSYNC and Janet and all those people. I would buy the copy, read the thank yous, and I felt like I knew them. Christina [Aguliera’s] ‘Stripped’ was one of my favorites. What I loved about ‘Revival’ is that I felt like there was a fluid story.”
Gomez’s new album includes collaborations with Hitboy, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter from Semi Precious Metals, and Rock Mafia. She’s also hinted in a recent interview that it will be heavily influenced by the hip-hop genre.
Along with teasing her super sexy album artwork, the singer also released the official remixes of her first single on Spotify. Gomez has dropped three new versions of the Song of the Summer, mixed by Netherlands’ Yellow Claw & Cesqeaux, Parisian beatsmith Nebbra and Sweden’s up and coming artist Kasbo.
