The Selena Gomez-Justin Bieber Instagram spat is no news but what’s been happening lately is the dissection of the feud itself and several reasons have been cited.
For those who are not aware of what lately happened with the singers — a lot of Jelena fans started to scribble hate messages on Justin Bieber’s Instagram wall after he posted a picture of himself with current girlfriend, 17-year-old model Sofia Richie, Vogue has reported .
The hate was pretty real, and some of the comments posted on his Instagram wall were caustic, to put it mildly.
“Your stupid miner [sic] girlfriend just wants you for your money she’s only 17 and she still going to use you,” said one.
Others contended that Bieber’s current girlfriend had an uncanny resemblance to Selena Gomez. Justin Bieber was pretty stern with the fans and warned them that he was going to make his Instagram private. “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand. If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

Clearly, things really did get out of hand and he had to delete his Instagram account. And guess who supported Justin Bieber’s decision to take a break from Instagram? Kourtney Kardashian.
It’s been said that the Justin Bieber and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star are pretty thick even though they don’t talk to each other often. “Even though they don’t see each other that often, Kourtney and Justin still have a tight friendship. She’s always encouraged Justin to take care of himself first and foremost, and if this means taking a break from Instagram, then she fully supports him,” an insider told Hollywood Life exclusively. “She knows Justin isn’t trying to punish his fans by deleting his account, he’s just trying to do what he thinks is best for his peace of mind. She’s let Justin know that she totally has his back.”

It’s clear that Kourtney Kardashian knew when to step in because Justin Bieber was criticized by ex Selena Gomez as well. Selena said:
“If you can’t handle the hate, stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol—it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before anyone ever did.”
However, Justin was not the one to keep quiet. “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love,” he snapped back. Do you think Selena Gomez is doing it for the attention? If not, then why is it that she can’t stop talking about Justin Bieber and alludes to him in pretty much all the interviews?
The Inquisitr had reported that Gomez recently talked about Justin Bieber (without explicitly mentioning him) in a Vogue Australia interview. “For a while, my private life was the most talked about thing,” Gomez told Vogue Australia. “Nobody really knows everything and they can only assume. You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously.”
The Inquisitr also quoted Hollywood Life as saying that Selena Gomez thinks Kourtney Kardashian is a threat to her. “She sees Kourtney as a threat, but she and Justin have so much history between them,” the insider added. “Selena knows Justin will always pick her in the end.” It doesn’t look like the Jelena saga is going to end anytime soon.
