One year ago, Bachelor fans watched as Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici got married. It’s been a whirlwind year for them, but it looks like they decided to take some time to embrace their anniversary and look back on their first year of marriage in a fun and quiet way. How did they celebrate?
Sean and Catherine have been sharing a few posts via social media, and it looks like they decided to head back to where the big day happened: Santa Barbara, California. As People shares, the Lowes are spending a long weekend at the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore, the same venue where they tied the knot on January 26, 2014.
The Bachelor couple has shared some photos of their trip, and it looks like they’re having a grand time. Photos include one as they were getting started on their travel, a couple as they were out riding bikes , several as they dined outdoors, and even one of the two doing facials and watching some a UFC battle.
Sean joked in one photo, “1 year down, 73 to go,” and it certainly seems that this Bachelor duo is doing well. They’ve kept busy with appearances and projects, as Sean even has a book coming out at the end of the month titled For the Right Reasons: America’s Favorite Bachelor on Faith, Love, Marriage, and Why Nice Guys Finish First .
The Lowes walked the red carpet at the recent Bachelor 2015 premiere for Chris Soules’ season, and naturally they were asked about having kids. Though they’ve said in the past they are looking forward to building a family, they’re not jumping into that scene quite yet.
Despite speculation that Catherine was pregnant as they walked the red carpet, she’s said that’s not the case . Sean indicated that they may look to 2016 to plan on having their first child. For now, it seems that they’re content to play aunt and uncle to their extended family’s children.
In fact, fans fell in love with Sean’s sister Shay during his season and her family just brought home baby Ashby via adoption from China. Sean and Catherine have been posting quite a few shots of Ashby already , swooning over her, so it seems for now her addition to the family may keep everybody busy for a bit.
Despite the recent split between Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, there’s plenty of happiness in the land of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette . Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried just got married, and Chris Soules says he’s in love. Fans are still hoping for a wedding between Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, and, of course, Ashley and JP Rosenbaum recently added baby Fordham to their family.
While babies may not be on the way yet for Sean and Catherine, Bachelor fans are thrilled for Catherine Giudici Lowe and Sean Lowe as they celebrate their one-year anniversary.
