Fans who thought that Scott Disick’s latest trip to rehab would be successful may be in for a major disappointment. TMZ reports that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is set to bail out of his stay in a drug and alcohol rehab program in Costa Rica as early as Monday. Sources close to Disick told TMZ that the reality television star simply has too many business commitments in Los Angeles to be in rehab. If Disick returns to Los Angeles as planned, his entire rehab stay will have been one week long.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Disick was originally scheduled to host a party at Crazy Horse, an adult entertainment venue in Florida. The advertisement for Disick’s appearance at Crazy Horse was deleted almost as quickly as it was posted, and the news broke the next day that Disick was returning to rehab for continuing substance abuse issues.
If Disick’s business commitments do include club appearances, that doesn’t bode well for his continued sobriety. While Disick had been careful not to be seen drinking alcohol at club appearances, he seemed to fall off of the wagon sometime in the past few weeks. Disick missed a two appearances in Great Britain and was described as belligerent and confused at a third appearance, prompting suspicions that he may have been drinking before the event.
Fans’ worst fears were confirmed recently when the Daily Mail revealed that Disick went to rehab after he was found shoeless and drunk in a hotel lobby after an appearance at The Pool After Dark in Atlantic City on March 15. Disick managed to make an appearance at El Hefe in Chicago later that night but checked into rehab the next day. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Disick is believed to have attempted to check into a rehab facility in Malibu before settling on the facility in Costa Rica, but reportedly left because he didn’t believe he had a problem with alcohol.
Disick has been uncharacteristically quiet on social media lately, which may be due to policies at the rehab facility. One person who hasn’t been silent is Scott Disick’s longtime partner Kourtney Kardashian. During an interview with People Magazine , Kardashian spoke candidly about Disick’s latest trip to rehab.
“He’s is doing well. I think the thing that’s most important to me is just his commitment to working on himself. If somebody doesn’t want to make changes then that’s really hard.”
Only time will tell if Disick’s commitment to change will have a lasting effect.
