Scott Disick and longtime partner Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship has kept people guessing for years, but could there be more to the recurring rumors that the two are headed for a split?
RadarOnline reports that Scott Disick just dropped a cool $250,000 on renovations for a bachelor pad in ultra upscale Beverly Hills. According to the permits Disick obtained for the Beverly Hills property, the money is earmarked for a kitchen remodel, an overhaul of one of the property’s six bathrooms, and complete door and window replacement. The renovation project will include a 62 foot by 33 foot addition to the second floor.
Disick’s design vision doesn’t stop there. Reality television’s favorite bad boy will also have the kitchen fireplace gutted and replaced, and completely overhaul the pool on the property. Is Disick looking to turn his $3.2 million purchase into the bachelor pad of his dreams?
Probably not.
The story first emerged in December, days after the birth of Disick and Kardashian’s third child together. It seems Disick purchased the swanky five bedroom, six bathroom house. Shortly after Disick and Kardashian welcomed their son, Reign, to their famous family, Disick went on a boys-only trip to Aspen that ended with a stolen bottle of alcohol and a trashed hotel room. No charges were filed against Disick, but he was charged for the damage and the bottle.
The unfortunate proximity of the two events led many to conclude that Kourtney Kardashian had finally had enough of Disick’s hard partying ways and was kicking him out for good. At least one outlet is giving Disick the benefit of the doubt. According to TMZ, Disick purchased the Beverly Hills property intending to flip it for a profit.
Disick’s real estate mogul aspirations explain his choice of renovation projects. According to Forbes Magazine , Disick chose the improvements very well. Kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, and window replacements are among the best home improvements to increase home value. On the kitchen remodel alone, Disick can expect to recoup 70 percent of his investment.
Despite Disick’s clear attempt to turn over a new leaf, some fans just aren’t buying it. Reports have emerged that Disick and Kardashian are so close to breaking up that he’s already come up with an exit strategy. In the event that the relationship fails, Disick is allegedly planning to write a tell-all book exposing the Kardashian family’s deepest secrets. Although, the source declined to elaborate on what secrets the Kardashians haven’t leaked themselves.
