Scheana Marie and Mike Shay’s relationship is about to come to blows on the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules . Although the reality couple’s courtship has been seemingly picture perfect for the last three seasons, Scheana Marie and her husband weren’t doing so well during production on Season 4.
Just one year after Scheana Marie and Shay were married during Vanderpump Rules Season 3, the couple began production on Season 4, and, as fans have seen on the show, and in the Season 4 trailer, Shay was reportedly drinking excessively in secret, and possibly using other drugs, as well.
During one scene from the trailer, Scheana Marie was seen in tears as she revealed her husband was drinking a lot, and during a scene from the upcoming episode of the show, Scheana Marie met with Lisa Vanderpump, her friend and boss at SUR Lounge, explaining that she feels cheated on by Shay’s undercover activities.
Shay is also seen in upcoming scenes, speaking with his friends, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval, and coming clean about his reported substance abuse struggles.
During Monday night’s show, Scheana Marie’s marital troubles, and divorce rumors, had yet to surface. Instead, Scheana Marie looked like any other newlywed. In fact, she may have taken things a bit farther than most, by decorating her home with enlarged photos of herself and Shay from their July, 2014, wedding.
On Twitter, Scheana Marie spoke out about her choice of art.

Also on social media recently, Scheana Marie has seemingly denied any potential divorce between her and Shay by sharing a number of photos.

Weeks after enjoying a vacation in Chicago, Scheana Marie and her husband celebrated Halloween by dressing up as a pair of Disney characters.

Since then, however, Scheana Marie hasn’t shared any new photos of her and Shay, which has come as bad news for their many fans.
Earlier this week, Scheana Marie’s close friend, Ariana Madix, and Madix’ boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, sat down for a Vanderpump Rules interview, in which they spoke of their shock over Shay’s substance abuse struggles, as well as the drama to come on Season 4.
“There are some relationship issues between [Scheana Marie] and Mike Shay; some issues with him personally,” Madix told SheKnows on Tuesday of the fourth season. “Just different relationships and different friends are put to the test in a new way that people haven’t seen before.”
“[Scheana Marie] is one of my closest friends, but Mike Shay is one of my best friends, as well. We’ve had a lot of conversations on our own, and I was like, ‘Wow, that’s not something that I’ve ever thought was going on with him.’ And I felt really horribly. I felt really horribly that he didn’t feel comfortable talking to anybody it, and that he was kind of suffering through this alone. It bummed me out on a level that’s hard to describe, and so I’ve really, 100 percent just hope that he knows that we’re here for him, always and forever.”
As Madix discussed Scheana Marie’s husband’s issues, Sandoval nodded his head, and agreed that he, too, was surprised by Shay’s struggles.
