As the Inquisitr previously reported, Scarlett Johansson was spotted wearing a wedding ring on her ring finger. While the Inquisitr questioned whether or not the Captain America: Winter Soldier actress was indeed married to journalist Romain Dauriac, it looks like E! has just confirmed the news.
Johansson and Dauriac made it official in a super private ceremony on October 1. The date marks a month after the couple was blessed with their first child, Rose. According to a source, the ceremony was performed by Richard J. Miller, and it took place in Philipsburg, Montana.
This is the second marriage for Scarlett as she was previously married to Ryan Reynolds back in 2008 after four months of being engaged. Word has it that she met Dauriac through mutual friends and quickly started dating. As for living arraingements, the couple likes to split their time between Los Angeles ad Paris.
Earlier in the year, when Johansson was asked whether or not she was walking down the aisle any soon, she remained somewhat coy. She didn’t want to rush the nuptials and added, “being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor.”
According to E!, when they asked if she was getting ready to get hitched, it was said that Johansson was waiting until after the baby was born.
Back in January of 2014, the star told People magazine about her wonderful French fiance, Romain. At the time, she said, “I’m very happy. He’s my buddy.”

During an interview with Glamour earlier in the year, Scarlett had a lot of perspective going into the marriage.
“When I was first married, I was much younger. And I have had the opportunity now to work more on getting to know myself. I think that makes you a better partner and somebody who is able to work with somebody and stay in a relationship in the not-romantic moments.”
She continued, “I have more patience with myself. I have more patience with my partner. I think that just comes with age, probably.”

As for what the theme was? We’re not sure, but it seems like Johansson wanted a low key wedding. “I’ve never been one to do a full-on themed wedding. I don’t care about that stuff.”
