US Cellular has decided, unlike Verizon and AT&T, that the Samsung Galaxy Tab deserves a contract, and with their standard 2-year deal they have enacted a “no contract after the first” promotion.

Beginning on November 19th US Cellular customers can pick up the tablet for $399 with a two year contract. US Cellular will then enact a program called “no contract after the first” which means you buy the device and then after a two year period you can continue to use the same calling and data plans you already have in place through your contract, while they promise not to coerce their customers into signing a new contract to keep their plans in place.

In terms of the unit, it’s the same offered by other carriers with a 1GHz processor, 7-inch display and Google Android 2.2. Users will also have access to mobile data and integrated WiFi standards.

US Cellular plans start at $14.99 for 200MB per month and go up to $54.99 for 5GB.
