Ryan Edwards is married, and as he reportedly treats his alleged substance abuse struggles in rehab, his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, is defending his honor online.
After Dalis Connell revealed details about Ryan Edwards’ alleged past drug use and 2012 stint in an outpatient rehab center, Standifer took to Twitter to seemingly threaten Connell with information regarding her own past.
“[It’s] not a secret anymore. But keep running your mouth, remember who you and Ryan have in common… before and after you broke up,” she wrote on June 6.
In response to Standifer’s tweet, several fans weighed in on the situation and slammed Ryan Edwards’ wife for allegedly failing to get the Teen Mom OG star help when he first needed it.
“Careful sweetheart… how long did you know about [Ryan Edwards’] issues and chose not to help him? Thank God for [Maci Bookout].”
As fans of Teen Mom OG may recall, Maci Bookout was first to come forward with Ryan Edwards’ alleged addiction problems and did so during an episode of the MTV reality series at the end of last month. During the episode, Bookout shocked fans when she admitted to fearing for Edwards’ life. She also admitted to her husband, Taylor McKinney, that she was planning to confront her former boyfriend about his rumored drug use at a later date.

Following Mackenzie Standifer’s tweet to Dalis Connell, fans’ comments continued.
“I am really sad I used to like you till you started stirring up drama. I mean you were not with him when she was so do you really know?” one fan wrote.
“As long as Ryan is getting the help he needs, who cares? Focus on the bigger issues. Life is too short,” another encouraged.
In addition to her tweet to Dalis Connell, Mackenzie Standifer shared a couple of telling retweets.
“If talking bout someone makes your life better. By all means go ahead and talk. But make sure you got ya facts straight,” one message read .
“Maybe if you put less effort into caring so much about me & my life & more about yours, you wouldn’t be so miserable? Just a thought,” read another .
Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer became engaged at the end of last year after just months of dating, and earlier this year, Teen Mom OG fans saw the special moment air on the show.
Although Mackenzie Standifer told MTV News at the end of last year that she and Ryan Edwards would not be getting married until November of this year, the couple reportedly had a change of heart and tied the knot just days before Edwards allegedly entered a treatment center to address his supposed struggles with substance abuse.
Standifer also revealed details of Ryan Edwards’ proposal while chatting with the outlet.
“I just thought we were going on a date, but he rented out a riverboat and nobody was there,” Standifer explained to MTV News . “It was just us on a riverboat, on the water, and it was beautiful. We finished dinner, and we were looking at each other. He asked me to stand up, and that’s when asked.”
“We already booked the church — we’re getting married in November 2017,” she added. “It was where Jen and Larry got married.”
