Ryan Edwards is back on the market after dating Shelby Woods for over a year.
The Teen Mom couple had been filming the fifth season of their MTV reality show, when, according to reports, they called it quits. On Twitter, the former couple confirmed their split with a series of tweets.
“[Ryan Edwards] is potty trained and free to a good home. Any takers?” Woods wrote to fans , via a November 10 report by Wetpaint Entertainmen t. In response, Edwards told Woods, “I s**t in your bed can you help me clean it up.” Then, after Woods called him a “loser,” Edwards wrote, “You don’t wanna clean up my s**t you don’t love me.”
Following their October breakup, Edwards told a friend, “I’m single so I have no restriction lol I’m ready to get wild with it like old times son.”
Although Ryan Ewards and the rest of the Teen Mom cast is currently filming season five, and has been since the summer, Farrah Abraham has not. According to the Inquisitr , Abraham was fired from the popular series after taking her career path in a direction that was frowned upon by the network.
Earlier in the year, Abraham didn’t seemed fazed by her estrangement from the cast. “Truthfully, I was never friends with any of them,” she told Us Weekly . “Personally, I like to keep my life separate. We came in the project separate, and I think it’s best we keep our lives separate.”
Meanwhile, Ryan Edwards’ ex-girlfriend, Maci Bookout, the mother of his five-year-old son, Bentley, who started kindergarden in August, as the Inquisitr reported, is going strong with her boyfriend of nearly two years, Taylor McKinney. In fact, the pair are considering a future together .
“He’s like the identical version of me, except he’s a guy,” Bookout told In Touch Weekly in August, 2013. “We’re looking for the same things in a marriage. Bentley’s going to need a father figure around all the time, and I want him to be comfortable with one ginormous family.”
Bookout and McKinney began dating in January, 2013 and moved in together in Chattanooga, TN over the summer, following months of juggling a long-distance relationship, with her in Tennessee and he in Dallas.
As for a possible reconciliation with Edwards, Bookout admitted to considering it before explaining, “I don’t think he’s the right person for me.”
Ryan Edwards will be joined by Bookout, and the rest of the cast of Teen Mom , for season five in 2015.
