Bruce Jenner has been facing some harsh criticism with allegations that he’s transgender and gradually making the transition to looking like a woman. Then there was that In Touch cover that angered Jenner’s family, photoshopping Jenner’s head onto a female body.

The cover sparked outrage among Jenner’s family and the public in general, saying that In Touch went too far with their photoshopping disaster.

With all the negative comments, it’s about time someone steps up and speaks up for Jenner. And who’s up for the job?
British comedian and star Russell Brand has taken it upon himself to defend the former member of the Kardashian clan.
On Brand’s YouTube show, Trews , which stands for “True News,” Brand stood up for Jenner, saying that what the media has been doing to him is “bullying” and “ transphobia ” according to People .
Brand went on to say, “Transphobia seems to be the most recent and encouraged form of prejudice, now that racism and homophobia are not tolerated.”
Brand commented on what all the speculation about Jenner is doing saying, “It sanctions people being judgmental and cruel toward transgender folks.”
Brand made a final plea for the sake of Jenner and all transgender folk saying, “This is bullying. Stop. Stop. Bruce Jenner is a human being.”
It’s about time someone called it exactly what it is. Jenner has faced so much scrutiny about his looks, especially since his divorce from Kris Kardashian, matriarch of the Kardashian clan. Despite all the discussion, Bruce is neither confirming or denying rumors, although his ex does have something to say.
According to Christian Times , Kris responded to the outrageous Jenner cover by saying the magazine was “ out of touch with reality ” defending her ex-husband and the father of two of her children. Kris was apparently “outraged” at what the magazine had done. Jenner, who is extremely private, feels less strongly about the mean comments made about him.
The Christian Times said that Jenner doesn’t “pay attention to this kind of stuff.” Despite all the rumors, Bruce and his family are still tight as ever as seen in this photo posted yesterday of Jenner with his Kardashian girls.

Bruce Jenner and his family are currently filming another season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians , set to air this spring.
