The royal baby finally has a name, and it is just as cute as she is.
Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, at only two-days-old, is already one of the most famous little girls in the world. The little princess was born on Saturday, May 2, at 8:34 a.m. local time, and weighed in at eight pounds, three ounces. The newborn’s full title is: Her Royal Highness Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge.

According to NBC News , Charlotte is “ fourth in line to the British throne after her grandfather, Prince Charles; her father, Prince William; and her brother, Prince George, who was born in 2013.”
The Kensington Palace announced the newest edition to the royal family’s name on their official Twitter page.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Diana,” they tweeted. “The baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.”

On Saturday, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall spent more than an hour with their new granddaughter. Michael and Carole Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge’s parents, along with her sister Pippa Middleton, also made their way to the palace to meet the princess. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also visited William, Kate and Charlotte.
“She is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to meet her,” Prince Harry told reporters.

According to CNN , Kate Williams, a royal historian, believes that Charlotte will have a much easier time than her brother “because no one thinks she’s going to be queen.”
However, Williams notes that she will probably face more scrutiny than her brother George, whose full name is, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.
“It’s going to be very, very difficult to give her a real, private normal childhood like Kate Middleton had, simply because [she’s] a huge celebrity,” Williams said.
