Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are apparently having more relationship problems following reports of a recent and intense public fight. According to OK! Magazine , the two stars shared heated words with each other during a music award ceremony in London last week. Does this mean that the two are headed for a breakup?
The former Twilight star and British singer were in attendance at the MOBO Awards in London when their verbal fight took place. Although the couple are normally fairly relaxed when it comes to public outings, things got intense between the two while they got into a taxi outside of the event.
“Twigs flung the door open and they started screaming at each other,” an inside source explained to the Sun . “Rob was livid and said, ‘Why the f***ing hell were you waiting there? You knew where I was.’ ”
Apparently, the couple’s awful night started long before this incident outside in the taxi. As the insider went on to reveal, the two were overheard arguing inside the event where things reached the point where Pattinson stormed off while Twigs was left with her friends.
“Someone joked about them doing a duet because Rob’s a musician, too,” the source continued. “He said that he’d love to, but she shook her head and he stormed off. She was comforted by a female friends outside the toilets. It was tense.”
Pattinson and Twigs have been together for over a year now, and announced their engagement a few months back. Despite their plans for a summer wedding, the two have yet to set a date to exchange vows.
The delay in wedding plans has led to rumors that Pattinson and Twig’s relationship might be in trouble. In fact, an inside source explained to OK! Magazine back in September that their wedding has been a source of constant conflict for the couple.
“FKA thinks Rob is suddenly being very old-fashioned — and to her, just because there’s the possibility they’ll tie the knot shouldn’t mean she has to change,” the source revealed.
The source went on to state that Pattinson has become the jealous boyfriend, while Twigs wants him to change his personality before they exchange vows. “Ironically, it’s the kind of edgy mystique that attracted Rob to her in the first place,” the source stated. “But now he seems to have become jealous and controlling, and she wants him to tone it down.”
Meanwhile, in addition to the news of wedding related issues and their recent public fight at the MOBO Awards, there are more reports that indicate Pattinson still isn’t over his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.
According to Franchise Herald , Pattinson has been unable to get over his former Twilight co-star, and even wants to be back with her. In particular, his relationship with Twigs has only reminded him of the great life he had with Stewart, who allowed him to do whatever he wanted.
“Rob told pals that he misses the wild life he had with Kristen,” a source told the outlet. “Twigs is her polar opposite, which is part of the reason Rob loves her, but he can’t help but miss all of the spur-of-the-moment things that he used to do with Kristen.”
With Stewart now apparently available following her split with Alicia Cargile, things might be set to get even more complicated with Pattinson. This is especially true if things between him and Twigs continue to get worse.
That being said, it should be note that neither Twigs nor Pattinson have addressed their recent fight at the MOBO Awards, or the other rumors surrounding their relationship.
