Rihanna and her BFF, Katy Perry, were seen out and about, partying together, in New York City over the weekend.
The pop singers were seen exiting a van together in New York City’s Meatpacking district on Saturday, hitting up the VIP room at OPUS 51 nightclub on Manhattan’s west side, according to People Magazine.
Rihanna wore a ’60s inspired patchwork mini dress with pink and orange suede fringed heels, while Perry was styling another outfit from the era, wearing a high-waisted, paisley-printed silky blue pants and a loose-fitting white crop top. She wore her ombre-dyed black and light brown hair down, complete with a middle part. Rihanna showed off her flowing tresses in a curly updo, and finished off her look with a light-pink lipstick.

Rihanna, 27, was in town to celebrate the wedding of her longtime friend and stylist Sonya Benson.
“Yasss!!!! Congrats to my beautiful and crazy @sonyabens on tying da knot,” Rihanna wrote on Instagram on Friday, alongside a photo of the beaming bride. “F****** love you girl!!!”
Perry also made the most of her weekend in the Big Apple by attending the new Whitney Museum. She later shared several photos on social media of some of the abstract paintings.

Katy Perry and Rihanna have been friends throughout most of their careers. However, is was reported that the pair fell out in 2013 after Rihanna got back with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, after he allegedly assaulted her.

This isn’t the first time the singers have been seen gallivanting around NYC. In 2013, the pair was photographed having lunch with Perry’s then-boyfriend, John Mayer, at The Lion.

Rihanna and Katy’s outing came one day before the highly anticipated 2015 MTV Video Music Awards aired. While Katy didn’t release any new music this year to get her nominated for an award, Rihanna was nominated for the Best Video with a Social Message for her song, “American Oxygen.”
Rihanna was later seen leaving the venue with her sidekick, Melissa Forde.
