Rihanna and Chris Brown had everyone buzzing during their very PDA appearance at this year’s Grammys. So much that it ignited a few faux stories about Brown getting into it with British singer Adele . Now it looks like Rihanna and Chris Brown might be on the outs once again.
The on and off couple spent their Valentine’s Day at Playhouse Nightclub in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Brown, reportedly showed up at midnight with a huge 20-person entourage who followed him in toe. Doesn’t sound too romantic, right?
The surprising factor is according to MailOnline , Rihanna showed up a half hour later, and didn’t even know her beau Chris Brown was there. Despite that conflicting report, the two were reportedly out to celebrate their one year anniversary since they reunited.
Things got extra weird between Chris Brown and Rihanna later on in the night. When Rihanna was asked if she wanted to be seated next to Brown, she asked specifically to be seated elsewhere. According to a source from MailOnline , “Rihanna refused to sit with or even near Chris, and when Chris noticed she was there he made a huge show of rubbing his presence in her face.”
It’s hard to tell if this behavior between Chris Brown and Rihanna is anything but a game of cat and mouse, or a real squabble, seeing as they are constantly fluctuating between love and cryptic tweets.
Despite that speculation, the two were not seen together the whole night, and left the club separately. Perhaps this is a call back to Rihanna’s Rolling Stone interview, when she gave incite that Chris Brown “doesn’t have the luxury to f—ing up again.”
Only time will tell for Chris Brown and Rihanna. Until the next court date.
