Rihanna’s friends seem to be convinced that the singer is pregnant with her first child, it has been reported.
The “Umbrella” hitmaker has been dating her billionaire boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, for the past couple of months, and things seem to have gotten serious between the two as of late.
While their relationship has been very private, Rihanna and Jameel reportedly spend a lot of time with one another — at least enough for her to have allegedly found herself pregnant.
OK! Magazine (via Hollywood Life ) claims that many of Rihanna’s pals believe she’s pregnant, but their sources fail to mention what triggered this belief, aside from the obvious fact that the Bajan star has gained a few pounds as of late.
Rihanna has been very vocal about having gained some weight in recent months, having even shamed those who criticized her fuller figure on social media over the summer.
“Well, I actually have had the pleasure of a fluctuating body type, where one day I can literally fit into something that is bodycon, and then the next day — the next week — I need something oversized; I need a little crop here and a high-waist there to hide that part, you know?” Rihanna tells the Cut .
Jameel and Rihanna haven’t been seen together in months. However, from what’s been gathered, they are definitely still an item but are keeping their romance away from the limelight.
News of Rihanna’s alleged pregnancy comes just months after it was claimed that the 29-year-old had ended her relationship with Drake last October because she was pushing to start a family and he allegedly wasn’t ready yet.
It’s believed that the “Man Down” hitmaker has been thinking about settling down for quite some time, and though she had initially seen herself having a future with Drizzy, the supposed fact that he did not want to be a father anytime soon gave her no choice but to move on with her life.
Now that reports are claiming that the songstress is expecting her first child with her billionaire boyfriend, it would seem as if Rihanna is finally heading in the right direction with the foreseen future she had planned for herself all along.
The singer isn’t planning on releasing any new music anytime soon, and should it be true that she’s pregnant, Rihanna will evidently make motherhood and family her main priority before anything else.
