RHONY star Kristen Taekman is reportedly “embarrassed” by her husband Josh’s recent admission of having an account with Ashley Madison. Last week, several names of users were released, and after the RHONY star’s husband was revealed as one of them, he confirmed his account with PEOPLE Magazine .
“I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family. We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives,” the RHONY star’s husband, Josh, said in a statement on August 24.
When the scandal broke, the RHONY star was in Calabasas, California, spending time with her family and enjoying time with friends, including Brandi Glanville, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , and her fellow scorned wife, Tori Spelling.
Just two days after the Ashley Madison scandal broke, a source told E! News the RHONY star was not planning to divorce her husband.
“They honestly love each other. [Kristen] may hold this over his head for a while, but I believe she’ll stick with Josh. I just don’t see them separating. [They] are fine. Kristen believes him. They’re shrugging it off.. They are not going to split over this.”
However, one week later, things may have changed.
On September 3, a source revealed the following to PEOPLE Magazine of the RHONY star:
“Kristen is extremely embarrassed and upset over thinking [Josh] was having affairs. As of now she is being her own P.I. and investigating. She’s looking through phone records and asking him questions. She doesn’t believe him. His story keeps changing.”
Although the source hinted that the RHONY star’s marriage could be in jeopardy as a result of Josh’s Ashley Madison account, Taekman’s rep denied the couple is having marital troubles.
“I cannot comment on her personal feelings but can say that the two are doing great and the marriage is fine,” the RHONY star’s rep, Siri Garber, explained to the magazine.
