Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava look alike, which really is no surprise, but a new photo of the two girls is making the rounds on the internet today because Ava has grown so much (and has taken after her gorgeous mom!). According to People Magazine , the 39-year-old actress posted a photo of her and Ava, 15, on Instagram ahead of the premiere of her new movie Hot Pursuit .
“The duo looked like twins with their tight-lipped smiles, blue eyes, eyebrows and blonde curls. (Although Ava topped off her locks with a shade of blue).”
The photo is somewhat rare, as Reese is a fairly private person when it comes to her family life. She usually doesn’t post pictures of her children on social media.
Reese Witherspoon and Ava look alike so much that they actually look more like sisters than mother and daughter! According to Mail Online , Ava also shared the picture on her Instagram account, captioning it with, “me and my ‘straight-shooter’” along with a heart emoticon.
Ava attended the premiere of Hot Pursuit (also starring Sofia Vergara) with her mom, but did not walk the red carpet. Reese was accompanied by her niece, Abby James, as she posed for photos and walked into the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Abby was also in Hot Pursuit playing a younger Reese!
Wearing a black and white knee-length dress, Reese posed for photos with Sofia, who wore a tea-length gold and silver number. Aside from looking great, it was clear to see that Reese and Sofia became friends while shooting the movie. The two beauties shared a few laughs together as they posed for photos.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Sofia and Reese have been having a ton of fun together while promoting Hot Pursuit. They recently posted a couple of videoswhere they lip-synced along to Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” and Taylor Swift’s “Trouble.” They posted the videos online, and fans really seemed to enjoy them.
Meanwhile, Hot Pursuit will be in theaters on May 8. The movie is an action-comedy about a cop (Reese Witherspoon) and a drug boss widow (Sofia Vergara) who end up together on somewhat of a wild goose chase.
“An uptight and by-the-book cop tries to protect the outgoing widow of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen,” reads the description on IMDb .
