Reality stars Corey Simms and Miranda Patterson have confirmed their baby news by sharing a photo on their private Facebook page. According to a May 14 report by the Ashley’s Reality Roundup , the Teen Mom 2 couple shared a photo of boots along with a sweet message.
“An extra pair of boots will be running around our house because Baby Simms will be on the loose.”
The report also revealed the reality stars will welcome their first child together in January of 2016. In the photo, the reality stars shared a sonogram, as well.
Simms has starred on MTV since 2010 when he and Leah Messer, his first wife, welcomed their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, now 5. After first appearing on 16 & Pregnant , the reality stars went on to appear on Teen Mom 2 , which followed them as they walked down the aisle, with Ali and Aleeah in tow, and later divorced. Shortly after the reality stars’ split, Simms began dating Patterson, and in June 2013, they walked down the aisle.
Regarding the reality stars’ baby news , a source told In Touch Weekly on May 13, “They’re so excited. It’s a dream come true. They’d been trying to get pregnant for a long time.”
The reality stars appear to have a picture-perfect relationship. Not only do they keep their drama with Messer to a minimum on the show, they have also stayed quiet in regard to Simms’ custody battle with his ex-wife, which fans saw a lot of during Teen Mom 2 Season 5.
Messer, on the other hand, has made it a point to diss the reality stars on the show — and online. Most recently, amid rumors of her second divorce, the mother of three took to Facebook , where, as the Inquisitr reported, she posted a hateful message claiming the reality stars’ marriage isn’t what it seems.
“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say.
“Marriage is far from perfect but my husband and I are very much in love with each other and still remain married and that doesn’t plan to change.”
