Did the Real Housewives mistress of David Beador ruin her marriage with their affair?
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Beador revealed her husband had engaged in an eight-month affair while filming the 10th season of the hit Bravo show, and months after filming wrapped, the Daily Mail identified David’s mistress as Nicole McMackin.

The report also revealed McMackin was married at the time of her affair with the Real Housewives star — and that wasn’t all. McMackin reportedly attempted to gain access to the details surrounding the Real Housewives couple’s marriage, and potentially their issues as well, by enrolling her own child in an activity which also included one of the Beador’s children.
Below is what a source revealed to the Daily Mail of McMackin’s closeness to the Real Housewives stars.
“It turns out that Nicole purposely put her kid on [Shannon Beador]’s daughter’s basketball team, a team that David coaches. The whole thing is upsetting for a lot of different reasons. They began talking during games and Nicole would ask her how her relationship was going. It just seems really underhanded and manipulative, almost as if she was probing for info to use to break them up. Or maybe she was just feeling guilty.”
Although the report claimed the Real Housewives mistress’ marriage to Reed remained intact, a report by Radar Online on September 18 tells a different story . According to their source, McMackin’s marriage to Reed is far more strained than that of the Real Housewives couple, who are currently in a good place. They celebrated their 15-year wedding anniversary just two days ago.
“It has been devastating for the family and having it play out on national television is making it hard for [her husband] Reed to forgive Nicole,” a source revealed of the Real Housewives mistress’ relationship.
“Nicole wishes she had never gotten involved with David! But she opened that can of worms and will have to deal with it. Reed would have left her if they didn’t have the kids.”
The Real Housewives source continued, telling Radar Online that while Reed hasn’t filed for divorce, “Nothing is off the table” just yet.
