‘Real Housewives Of Dallas’ Announced By Bravo – And Then Retracted!

The Real Housewives of Dallas has been a huge question for fans for a long time. Bravo announced the return of The Real Housewives of Potomac months ago, and they recently started filming. But after Dallas wrapped this spring, the network went silent. The show didn’t exactly get the ratings that the network had hoped for. Andy Cohen revealed that he had been excited about bringing Dallas into the Real Housewives franchise for a while, but they had struggled to find a great cast to really represent the city.

Sadly, it didn’t really work well, as the show was primarily about charity, and this didn’t give the show enough substance. Some people were turned off by the storylines, but near the end of the season, friendships started crumbling and marriage troubles surfaced, which could have given the second season some substance.

According to a new tweet, Bravo announced the return of The Real Housewives of Dallas yesterday — and then quickly deleted the news. In a press release, the network announced the return of various shows, including Shahs of Sunset and Million Dollar Listing New York . And while The Real Housewives of Dallas was in the heading of the press release, the show wasn’t mentioned in the press release itself. And within 30 minutes, the headline was altered.

“Bravo announces the return of #RHOD then, 30 mins later they revise the release and remove any reference of it. HUH?! I’m so confused,” one person wrote in a tweet, capturing a screenshot of the original title, which read, “Meanwhile, along with Real Housewives of Dallas , Bravo has ordered a fourth season for Southern Charm and sixth seasons for both Shahs of Sunset and Million Dollar Listing New York .”

Million Dollar Listing New York started filming a while ago, and they have been filming for at least a month, if not longer. Maybe Bravo just wants to make sure that this second season can measure up to the first before they make an announcement. And people were quick to guess that a second press release will come next month.

“Obviously somebody ran the wrong release. Although I’m not sure what they’re waiting for because they are filming,” the person later added, sharing the news that the production team behind The Real Housewives of Dallas had been filming in Dallas for a while.

“Maybe a November announcement on the way? I ‘think’ that is when they announced season 1 last year,” one person speculated.

The ladies from The Real Housewives of Dallas have promised to keep fans in the loop when it comes to the second season. LeeAnne Locken and Cary Deuber have been very open about not receiving contracts from Bravo. However, it is possible that they have received contracts and been told not to talk about it. This wouldn’t be the first time that Bravo has prevented Real Housewives stars from talking about a show. If Locken returns to the show, she promises that viewers will be surprised at how things have changed in Dallas.

“Interesting article! How do Y’ALL feel about Steph referring to ME & Brandi Redmond as ‘the dark side’? Is it RUDE, MEAN or just plain DUMB?” LeeAnne Locken tweeted about an article a few weeks ago, sharing that the article had quotes from Stephanie Hollman about the new friendship that is flourishing between LeeAnne and Brandi.

“Oh come on, you’ve shown your true colors all over national tv,” one person wrote, while LeeAnne Locken replied, “Girl!! YOU are gonna be SO DISAPPOINTED if their is a Season 2. Prepare yourself now!”
