‘Real Housewives’ Kim Richards’ Sister Slams ‘Hungry’ People For Discussing Her Arrest

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has been in the headlines a lot lately, and her older half-sister, Kathy Hilton, isn’t thrilled about it.

Following the April 16 arrest of Richards, the reality star’s Miami counterpart, Joanna Krupa, was bombarded by paparazzi in Los Angeles, but refused to say anything negative about Richards — or the reality star’s late mother. Upon seeing video footage from Krupa’s outing, Hilton thanked her on Twitter for her steadfastness.

“Thank you for your kind words about [Kim Richards]. It’s refreshing to see someone not capitalizing off someone’s misfortune,” Hilton wrote earlier this week on Twitter, as reported by the Inquisitr .

In response, Krupa told Hilton, “Only a heartless person could speak bad about someone going through a tough time in their life.”

Since the Real Housewives star’s arrest last month, several housewives have spoken out, including Adrienne Maloof, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, Lisa Vanderpump, and Brandi Glanville. Even wives from other franchises, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta ‘s Kandi Burruss, have weighed in on Richards’ arrest. Although most of what the fellow Real Housewives stars have said has been positive, Hilton was clearly annoyed by some of the backlash.

On May 7, Hilton further dissed those commenting on her Real Housewives sister, suggesting they were not only “heartless,” but also “hungry.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Kyle Richards spoke of Hilton during an interview with Andy Cohen on his late night show, Watch What Happens Live , earlier this year. During the interview, Kyle explained Hilton’s position in regard to the Real Housewives sisters’ ongoing tensions.

“That is a very good question. You know, it’s difficult for [Kathy Hilton]. She’s in a complicated position because she’s not there when we’re filming. So then we go back and she hears my version, and then she hears Kim’s version, and then she has to kind of wait and see the show. So, I think she kind of feels stuck to be honest.”

Throughout the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Kim and Kyle Richards were at odds over everything from Kim’s relationship with Brandi Glanville to accusations that Kyle stole Kim’s stake in their mother’s former home in Palm Springs, California.

Currently, Richards is in rehab where the Real Housewives star hopes to tend to her alcohol addiction. At this point, it is unclear when she will return home.
