‘Rap God’ Eminem Track Released, Check Out The Lyrics [Watch]

Rap God is the second track to be released by Eminem from his upcoming album MMLP2, which is due for full release on November 5.

The six-minute track, which follows Berzerk , the first track he released, makes references to anything from his feuding days with Ray J to to the Clinton/Lewinsky affair.

Even though Slim Shady refers to himself on the track as a “Rap God,” a big position for anyone to fill, he gives props to rappers who shaped who he is today. In one verse, he refers to himself as “a product” of Rakim, Tupac and Shabazz as well as the old skool N.W.A crew.

You could say that perhaps Eminem has delusions of grandeur as in the last line of the track he asks: “Be a king? Think not – why be a king when you can be a God?”

Yea Slim, you ‘re pretty good, even better than pretty good, but you aren’t quite God.

Here are the lyrics from the intro and first bridge of the new Rap God track :

Look, I was gonna go easy on you and not to hurt your feelings But I’m only going to get this one chance Something’s wrong, I can feel it (Six minutes, Slim Shady, you’re on) Just a feeling I’ve got, like something’s about to happen, but I don’t know what If that means, what I think it means, we’re in trouble – big trouble – and if he is as bananas as you say, I’m not taking any chances You were just what the doctor ordered

I’m beginning to feel like a Rap God, Rap God All my people from the front to the back nod, back nod Now who thinks their arms are long enough to slapbox, slapbox? They said I rap like a robot, so call me Rapbot
