Rachel Uchitel and Matt Hahn are divorcing, and the nasty rumors are already flying around. The brief 18 month old marriage between the woman who rose to fame by sleeping with top golfer Tiger Woods and former Penn State football player Matt Hahn seems to be over.
According to TMZ, Matt Hahn filed for divorce Monday from Rachel Uchitel because of “cruel and inhuman treatment … such that the conduct of the defendant [Rachel] so endangers the physical or mental well being of the plaintiff as renders it unsafe or improper for the plaintiff to cohabit with the defendant.”
The couple has a year-old daughter named Wyatt Lilly . Hahn is rumored to be seeking custody as well as an “equitable” distribution of the couple’s assets.
So far, so standard. The New York Post has confirmed that Hahn filed the divorce from Uchitel in the state of New York.
Hahn’s attorney Douglas Kepanis told The Post : “Mr. Hahn loves his daughter Wyatt and only wishes the best for her. Every effort will be made to achieve those goals without protracted litigation.”
Hmm.
TMZ is also reporting that one of those famous unnamed sources said that Rachel Uchitel called 911 on May 16 to have Matt Hahn removed from the house as a result of a particularly nasty altercation. No charges were filed against anyone, so I’m picturing more of a shouting match here than an exchange of fisticuffs.
As for Uchitel’s partner in infidelity, Tiger Woods is rebuilding his life since the complete meltdown of his marriage to Elin Nordegren.
He seems to be getting serious about his new relationship with ski champ Lindsey Vonn. The Olympic champion was recently photographed on a yachting trip with Woods and his children , as well as attending many other recent public events with golfing’s biggest name .
I doubt Tiger Woods has much time for the so-called party planner and Celebrity Rehab loser. Apparently, Matt Hahn would like to be done with Rachel Uchitel as well.
