‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Is On The Way, According To Anna Kendrick’s Instagram Photo

The rumors about a Pitch Perfect 3 movie have been confirmed on Monday. As soon as news about the popular Pitch Perfect franchise hit the web, the hashtag #PitchPerfect3 began trending on Twitter.

However, fans of the movie that was adapted from the book titled Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory by Mickey Rapkin will have to wait more than two years to view the film. Pitch Perfect 3 has a July 2017 release date, reports Variety .

Anna Kendrick confirmed her participation in Pitch Perfect 3 via Instagram , in a post that shows Kendrick winking and holding up three fingers. The post, which was published at approximately 5 p.m. ET on Monday, quickly received more than 113,000 likes. Rebel Wilson will also reprise her role as “fat Amy” in the Universal “three-quel” when Pitch Perfect 3 hits movie theaters on July 21, 2017.

Kendrick is known as a multi-talented actress and a singer who went viral with “Cups,” known as the cup song. Anna has often mentioned how guys didn’t necessarily find her as attractive when she was growing up as they do now with her acting fame on display. Either way, the a cappella Bellas will return in a third Pitch Perfec t movie that was reportedly already in the works and planning stages prior to Pitch Perfect 2 even being released.

With such a profitable box office draw, it’s no wonder Pitch Perfect 3 was a pre-planned deal. According to The Wrap, Pitch Perfect 2 was the highest-grossing movie musical opening in history. That original movie only cost $17 million to create yet pulled in an amazing $115 million.

Not only will Anna and Rebel return for their roles in Pitch Perfect 3 , the screenplay writer Kay Cannon will as well. It’s unknown at this time whether or not other members of the franchise will return for the third movie.

As reported by the Inquisitr , the real age of Rebel was recently revealed, shocking some fans who thought the actress might be younger. Either way, Twitter is seriously abuzz with the news of the new movie.
