After seeing the performances on Monday night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars , Peta Murgatroyd was amazed, and quickly shared her excitement on Twitter. Unfortunately, her excitement quickly turned to anger when she was accused of supporting one team over another. Some people accused Peta of supporting Val Chmerkovskiy and his celeb partner, Rumer Willis, over Sharna Burgess and her celeb partner, Noah Galloway.
After the performances, Peta posted a tweet in which she asked people to vote for Val and Rumer . While some people similarly shared their love for Val and Rumer, others responded by telling Peta that, as a professional on the show, she shouldn’t be publicly rooting for a specific team. Others asked her why she wasn’t showing the same love for Sharna, who is supposedly a good friend of hers, and Noah.
Peta quickly responded to the criticism .

Indeed, Peta had sent a very supportive tweet to Sharna and Noah after seeing their dance. Clearly, Peta supports both teams.

Peta, who, with football player Michael Sam, made an early exit from Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars, posted another tweet in which she told people to stop being so hateful and negative .
“Gosh people seriously?!!! I tweeted @SharnaBurgess first…then @iamValC!! Stop the hate and negativity, and check my timeline before you have a go at me”
Some people may have been quick to assume that Peta Murgatroyd would want Val Chmerkovskiy and Rumer Willis to win over Sharna Burgess and Noah Galloway, since she’s dating Val’s brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Last Week, Us Weekly reported that Peta and Maksim, who broke up in 2013 after about 10 months of dating, are officially back together . A source told the publication that the two are “fully back together.” Another source previously told Us Weekly that Maks worked hard to get Peta back.
“Peta was wary at first since they fought so much and ended on such a bad note the last time, but he has been working hard to really be a good guy to her and show her that he’s changed.”
Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who won Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars with Meryl Davis, have made no secret of their renewed romance. The two have frequently posted photos of each other on their social media accounts. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Maks already posted a sexy snap of one of their date nights to his Instagram account in late March.
