News of Google Wallet has been followed with a lawsuit by online payment processor Paypal who filed a suit in a California Superior Court on Friday claiming that former PayPal executive Osama Bedier misappropriated company trade secrets to help build the product.
In the suit Paypal also named Stephanie Tilenius, another former PayPal employee who they say violated the terms of her contract by hiring Bedier.
At this time it’s still unclear which “trade secrets” the company is referring to and the case at this moment appears to be more about hiring practices than anything else.
