Actor Paul Walker’s family has chosen Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills as his final resting place. A source close to the family says they have not yet decided when the funeral will take place, but are expected to make a decision this week when the whole family is together.
O n Tuesday, representatives from the cemetery retrieved Paul Walker’s remains from the Los Angeles Coroners Office after the autopsy was completed. This follows the heartbreaking revelation that Paul Walker died of traumatic and thermal injuries he sustained in the crash after the car exploded in a fireball. Both Paul Walker and his friend and business partner, Roger Rodas died “within seconds” as a result of the crash, the coroner’s report indicated.
The deadly accident occurred on November 30, after the Porsche they were road testing hit a street sign at what police believe was a high rate of speed and burst into flames. Frantic bystanders, including some of Paul Walker’s friends, tried to rescue the men from the burning car, but were held back by the intensity of the fire.
Even though Paul Walker’s family has not announced the date of the service, his Facebook page reported on Monday “a global memorial” is in the works.

Paul Walker’s longtime friends and co-stars Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson reached out to the devastated family to offer their assistance with the funeral arrangements. Both Fast And Furious stars visited the family in person.
Vin Diesel broke down when he saw Paul Walker’s mom after her son’s tragic death. The actor, who has clearly been struck by the loss of his friend and fellow actor left several heartfelt messages on his Facebook Page .
