Patrick Schwarzenegger is reportedly heartbroken, but Miley Cyrus may already be moving on after his spring break fling.
Schwarzenegger, a junior at USC, was photographed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, getting very close to a young woman in a black bikini. Photos showed the two walking with their arms interlocked, and later showing the woman with her arms around Patrick’s neck.

The heartbroken Patrick tried to explain girlfriend Miley — and the world — that the young woman was just a friend and that nothing bad had happened.
Patrick explained that the girl was his best friend’s girlfriend, someone who Miley apparently already knows.
“They’ve known each other for well over a year,” a source told E! News . “They’ve definitely hung out before—they’re part of the same group of friends. They’ve hung out a lot.”
But Miley appeared to be hurt by Patrick’s indiscretion. A few hours after the pictures hit the internet, Miley posted an eCard with the message, “Don’t Ever let someone treat you like a yellow Starburst. You are a pink Starburst.”
Sources say that Miley was upset at Patrick, even if he wasn’t cheating.
“She feels like he completely disrespected her and their relationship for being so flirty in Cabo,” a source told Hollywood Life .
The revelation comes after it appeared that Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus were getting serious. Though they have only been dating for a few months, sources say the couple appeared to be quite committed and had already won over Patrick’s initially skeptical family.
Sources said Patrick’s mother, Maria Shriver, was unsure about her son dating Miley Cyrus but has since come around. The couple was spotted having dinner with Shriver in recent weeks, a sign that she has given the relationship her approval.
While Patrick Schwarzenegger may be heartbroken, Miley appears to be moving on. E! News reported that the singer may be ignoring Patrick’s calls as she heads to Las Vegas for a show.
“Patrick is extremely frustrated because he’s been actively trying to be very good and to make this relationship work,” a source told E! News . “He’s a really good boyfriend and has been great to Miley. The media has made this seem like he’s been sketchy and a bad guy when he really did nothing. Patrick has been trying to reach Miley since he’s been back, calling her over and over and she hasn’t been answering his calls. He’s very upset and is doing everything he can to try resolve things.”
But another source denied that rumor, saying that Miley Cyrus and the heartbroken Patrick Schwarzenegger are in fact talking since he got home from spring break.
