Eleven years ago, Padma Patil was Ron Weasley’s date to the Yule Ball. The two weren’t exactly thrilled to be there together, but that didn’t stop Padma, played by actress Afshan Azad, from looking cute. Now the 27-year-old actress has quite a different look, and the internet loves it.
Another actor of Harry Potter fame also turned heads due to his drastic changed since his roles as Neville Longbottom. Matthew Leiws removed (most) of his clothes for a photo shoot with Attitude Magazine and sent the internet into overload.
Now, another actor from the Harry Potter franchise is getting all of the internet’s attention. At 16-years-old, Afshan Azad was cute and adorable. She fit the description for the Ravenclaw student well. Afshan is a British actress of Bangladeshi origin that Buzzfeed notes was “crush-causingly adorable throughout her role in the films.”
Afshan Azad is 27-years-old now and is quite the women. She occasionally posts new photos to her Twitter feed and she keeps all her fans up to date with her Netflix watching (she binge watches Orange Is the New Black , too!)

As the Huffington Post reports , Afshan appreciates all the complimentary attention. However, 11 years have passed, and so, obviously, her looks have changed.

Harry Potter fans must keep in mind that Padma Patil is a character. Afshan Azad is the talented actress that played the part. While her 16-year-old self is immortalized in the movies, she, as a person, still ages and grows.
And Afshan Azad has grown into a stunning young woman since her Padma Patil days.
