While walking around the show floor at CES 2011 I happened along the booth for P2i and at the front of their booth was a presenter who was performing magic tricks. I didn’t actually hear him talk about the company’s products, apparently they create “Liquid Repellent Nano-Coating for Technology and Industrial Purposes.” What I did see was a pretty funny, entertaining guy.
He performed magic much in the flavor of “The Amazing Jonathan” who has been spotted many times on Comedy Central and who currently performs in Vegas.
Simple card tricks, audience interaction, in-the-moment jokes. If you happen to be walking the show floor, stop by and take a second to have a good laugh.
Many reps at CES just want to push press packets in your face, even if they aren’t sure if you sell or market their products, it’s refreshing to see company’s like P2i who sell a rather specialized and geeky product who just want people passing by to have a good laugh and they’ve accomplished that at their booth thanks to their friendly resident magician.
