How does The Originals celebrate a wedding? Well, with planned murder and severed heads, of course. What else would you expect from Klaus? Hayley and Jackson’s wedding day arrives in the next new episode, 214, “I Love You, Goodbye,” and Klaus has plans to make it quite memorable.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, part of the ritual Hayley and Jackson are going through involves revealing their secrets , and that’s why Jackson is now among those who know that Hope is alive. Klaus isn’t exactly happy about that, and so it’s no surprise that he has something up his sleeve, as revealed in the synopsis Dread Central posted for this next The Originals Season 2 episode .
“THE BIG DAY — With the final preparations for her union to Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) underway, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) begins to question whether the ritual will actually work. After arriving to the compound, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) has a tense encounter with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and quickly suspects that his brother may be up to something. Meanwhile, Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman), who is harboring a devastating secret from Davina (Danielle Campbell), seeks help from Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) when he realizes time is not on his side. Lastly, Cami (Leah Pipes) makes a startling revelation involving baby Hope.”
There are a couple of preview videos already out for “I Love You, Goodbye,” and the CW has posted an extended trailer for this Originals Season 2 episode. It’s not exactly an entirely happy day, as Hayley is crying while getting ready for her wedding. Elijah knows his brother is planning something, and it turns out that Klaus isn’t going to let Jackson live that long after the wedding.
“He is not one of us,” Klaus explains when Elijah argues that he won’t let him harm Jackson on this day.
The Originals Season 2 Episode 14 sneak peek that TV Guide has shared offers a look at what Klaus considers a good wedding gift – at least for Jackson. He brings him the heads of the wolf leaders who refused to give up Finn’s moonlight rings, and really, Jackson probably should have expected something like this. This is Klaus , after all. He then, within 30 seconds, gives an explanation for the heads and implies that Jackson maybe should start thinking about how long Klaus will let him live.
“I kind of hoped you’d see it as an early wedding present. … You know, you are a brave and selfish leader, Jackson. And I’m positive you’ll remain so for the entire duration of your reign.”
The CW has also posted a second “I Love You, Goodbye” clip that shows Davina and Josh talking about Aiden before Kol walks in and dismisses Josh. Davina wonders why Kol didn’t call her, and he tries to dodge the question.
The Originals Season 2 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on the CW.
