The 2015 Emmys got off to a rather inauspicious start on Sunday when Olivia Culpo almost fainted while providing pre-event coverage for E!

Culpo, who was voted Miss USA back in 2012, was on camera and on the red carpet just outside the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles when it became obvious that she was in distress.

Culpo was talking to Giuliana Rancic when she decided to cramp down and recuperate because of the incessant heat. You can check out a video of Culpo struggling below.

Temperatures in Los Angeles had soared to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit as celebrities and actors made their way to the venue for the ceremony, which is being hosted by Brooklyn Nine-Nine ‘s Andy Samberg.

After she had recovered from her brush with dehydration, Culpo decided to take to her Twitter account to confirm to fans that she was fine, while at the same time, she also reposted various other Tweets that poked fun at the incident.

This was a far cry from earlier in the day when Olivia Culpo decided to take to her Twitter account to post an image of her getting ready for the soiree, where she looked remarkably glamorous.

After she almost fainted, Olivia Culpo was attended to by paramedics in the area, according to TMZ , via the Daily Mail . It’s believed that the temperatures inside the tent where Culpo was reporting rose to around 106 degrees Fahrenheit.

Culpo wasn’t the only attendee to be stricken by the heat, as Mario Lopez also showed just hot hot it was by posting two pictures of his back and shirt completely drenched in sweat on Instagram.

Because of these conditions, the former Saved By The Bell actor captioned one post with, “Officially the hottest red carpet ever. Shirt change #2 coming up.”
