North West had her baptism in Jerusalem, and her mom, Kim Kardashian, recently posted photos of the event on social media. According to the Huffington Post , Kim celebrated her daughter’s second birthday with a bunch of pictures from the baptism which occurred earlier this year. The pictures show Kim holding North while she sleeps, and other special moments that she and Kanye West had with their little girl.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West chose to baptize North at St. James Cathedral in the Armenian Quarter of the old City of Jerusalem after they took a trip to Armenia with her sister, Khloe Kardashian. Kanye gave a free concert in Yerevan. The show was reportedly cut short when Kanye jumped into a lake in order to get “closer” to some fans, but many fans jumped in after him, and he was forced to leave for safety reasons.
But back to North West’s baptism. Kim and Kanye wore interesting outfits for the ceremony, as reported by Entertainment Tonight .
“Kim is seen wearing a head covering with a figure-hugging tan dress while Kanye dons an all-white outfit. As for North, she is clothed in a white satin robe.”
While North West slept through most of the baptism, her parents looked very respectful, and very into the whole thing. While one might question Kanye’s choice of pants — it looks like he’s wearing white denim, and there’s a clear hole in his pants — others think that it’s wonderful that the couple wanted this ceremony to be extremely special for them, and for their daughter. Kim seemed to channel Mary with her white veil, and looked at peace while holding her baby.
The celebration continued at a dinner with Nir Barkat, the mayor of Jerusalem . As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Barkat asked the couple to be ambassadors of Jerusalem, and to “spread the message around the world that Jerusalem is open and everyone is wanted here.”
After they spent some time in Jerusalem, the couple headed to Jordan. Cameras were in tow for most of the trip, and filmed footage for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians . It is unknown how much of the baptism will be shown (Kanye likes to limit North’s involvement on the show), but fans will likely get to see some of the ceremony.
