Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney are definitely not dating. Twitter says so. Reedus posted his denial of the dating rumors on Twitter after the statement by his rep failed to convince excited Walking Dead fans. Reedus’ rep spoke to Just Jared on June 17, and made the non-dating status of the Walking Dead stars clear.
“We can confirm that they are not dating,” the rep said.
Fans were eager to see Norman and Emily together and didn’t want to believe the rep’s statement. They’ve been following the chemistry between Beth and Daryl on the Walking Dead , and a lot of people thought that a “Normily” relationship would make up for not letting Daryl and Beth love on the show.

But hope is dead for a relationship between Emily, 29, and Norman, 46, according to Reedus’ himself . Norman had some fun with the romance rumors with “one magnificent tweet.” He tweeted a photo about a new couple alert, but the photo was of Reedus and Arnold Schwarzenegger while they were out together having a beer at the CMT awards.

Later in the evening, Schwarzennegger posted a snapchat video that showed he was having a lot of fun with Reedus.

Some fans are ignoring Reedus. They still want to believe that Norman and Emily are together, and they’re hoping that one day, it will happen.

After the heartrending death of Beth on the Walking Dead , fans were so disappointed about “Bethyl” that they started a Change.org petition asking for Emily Kinney’s character to be reanimated. They wanted Beth back on the show, and they wanted Daryl and Beth together. One fan said that Emily and Norman belong together on Walking Dead and in real life.

The incredible chemistry between Emily and Norman on the show was real, even if the romance isn’t. There are plenty of pictures of the two showing how physical they are and how much they look like a couple.

When Us Weekly broke the news of the Reedus and Kinney relationship rumor, a source close to Norman and Emily said they’d always had a connection.
“They had a connection early on in the show, but the romance developed recently.”
