Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson haven’t talked for about six years.
Lachey, who recently rejoined the boy band 98 Degrees, talked about his non-existent relationship with his ex-wife on Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen.
Cohen asked the singer if he ever re-watched episodes of Newlyweds: Nick And Jessica. Lachey nearly “Plead The Fifth” but eventually answered the question.
Lachey said: “Wow. Is this the part where I can plead the Fifth? It’s been years. Honestly, probably six years. It was like another lifetime ago.”
The singer has definitely moved on from his marriage with Simpson. The singer married Vanesssa Minillo in 2011 and last year they welcomed a son Camden John .
The singer added : “I have not (watched the show). As you can imagine, that’s not popular viewing in my house. We don’t sit around as a family and watch the old DVDs.”
Lachey’s career faltered after the initial success of 98 Degrees but the singer and his band mates are in the middle of a comeback. The band has been touring and they just released their first album in more than a decade.
Lachey said: “We are really excited to bring our fans new music and get out on the road. This is a long time coming.”
