Niall Horan is homesick after spending the last few years on the road. The One Direction singer is currently touring with his bandmates on their Take Me Home tour, which is heading to Mexico.
According to the singer, he loves being on the road with his One Direction bandmates, but it has been hard being away from friends and family for so long.
Niall recently tweeted: “Had a lovely few days at home! Great to see everyone! People I haven’t seen in ages! Had great craic aswell!”
The singer then added: “Won’t be at home for a long time now! Gonna miss the family and the lads! Very limited time with them!”
Being part of a boy band does mean Niall Horan has friends to hangout with, and he’s often seen out on the town with One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson
So how’s the 19-year-old pop star dealing with his time away from family and friends? The boys in the group have recently started a fitness routine that includes a private fitness instructor. The guys are lifting weights, boxing, and taking part in various other exercises.
Fans of the band might already be aware that the guys from The Wanted have challenged One Direction to a boxing match for charity.
It shouldn’t surprise fans of One Direction that Niall Horan is homesick; after all, the guys have experienced a meteoric rise to fame that quickly snatched them from their everyday lives and sent them shooting towards the top of the pop charts.
As we recently reported, the guys in One Direction recently hired personal assistants because they were getting “stressed out” while constantly on the road.
