Did New York City reality star Bethenny Frankel stage a fake breakup from boyfriend Michael Cerussi? She may have!
According to an OK! Magazine report, Frankel may be lying about her relationship status. In an April 30 report by Real Mr. Housewife , it was alleged the Real Housewives of New York City star has been lying about seeing Cerussi, because she feels it is in her best interest , at least professionally, to be single at this time.
“She thinks it’s better for the show if she’s ‘single.’”
Also in the article, OK! Magazine’s source noted the recent release of Frankel’s relationship book, which was titled, I Suck at relationships So You Don’t Have To . Because of the title, one would think Frankel would be more believable as an author if she had, in fact, failed at the majority of her relationships, Cerussi’s included.
Frankel starred on The Real Housewives of New York City from Seasons 1 to 3, before leaving the Bravo series to pursue her own spinoff, Bethenny Getting Married . The spin-off followed her and her now-estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, as they walked down the aisle and prepared for the birth of their first child, daughter Bryn. Following a successful first season, Frankel and Hoppy returned to Bravo in Bethenny Ever After , which showed both their professional lives and their personal relationships.
Then, in October of last year, after taking three seasons off from the New York City-based series, Frankel returned to the show for Season 7, which is currently airing on Bravo.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the New York City housewife announced her reality return on her personal blog . In her post, Frankel explained why she felt it was the right time to return to her former co-stars.
“After many years of hesitation, I have decided to return to my roots on ‘The Real Housewives of New York City.’ I have been through a long and arduous road since my departure, and I’m finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again. After my talk show ended, I really had doubts about ever going back to television. I’ve been through a lot personally, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to expose myself to any more public scrutiny. That said, I’ve been so fortunate to be able to connect with the audience and inspire them to fulfill their wildest dreams.”
