The new video game releases for the week of November 30, 2014 are plentiful, with the The Crew leading the charge. Compared to the the Inquisitr’s previous list of new video games, there may be a good deal more games.
The biggest profile release of the week is The Crew from Ubisoft, and it is not just the only AAA release for the week, but it is also an important moment of truth for the publisher. Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Far Cry 4 have both been plagued with launch issues, with Assassin’s Creed: Unity faring the worst. The glitches and frame rate issues were so bad that Ubisoft is releasing the first paid DLC for free for all owners of the game, and issued a formal apology to everyone who purchased the game. Ubisoft has assured the gaming public that The Crew will have a smooth launch despite it being the most online intensive game of the three.
Square Enix is also bringing Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix to North America this week. The HD remastering of the original PlayStation 2 title is based on the “Final Mix” version of the game that featured additional content, gameplay balancing, and other enhancements that was released in Japan, but never in North America. The game includes Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix , Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix , and updated cinematics from Kingdom Hearts: ReCoded .
