NBA Finals schedule is now fully known. The Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors series is now set in stone. The wait for the 2015 NBA Finals schedule to begin still isn’t over, though, as both the Western and Eastern Conference Finals finished a bit early. On Wednesday night , the Warriors eliminated the Houston Rockets in just five games to punch their ticket. The Cavaliers had already received an invite after sweeping the Atlanta Hawks in the East, and now Lebron James and Stephen Curry will meet for the championship.

After Tuesday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers already knew they would be playing Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals on the road. The question left to answer was whether they would be heading to California to play the Warriors or Texas to play the Rockets. Both Western Conference teams finished the regular season with better records than the Cavaliers, leaving no doubt that LeBron James would have to lead his team on the road. Now he knows that the Cavs are playing the new MVP (Stephen Curry) in front of some rabid Warriors fans.

Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals schedule takes place on June 4 at 9 p.m. ET. Game 2 will follow on June 7, with a start time of 8 p.m. ET. Both games will take place in California and will be shown live on ABC. The teams will then travel to Cleveland for the next two games, with Game 3 on June 9 and Game 4 on June 11. Both will have a start time of 9 p.m. ET and will also be shown on ABC. Should they be necessary, Game 5 would be hosted by Golden State on June 14, Game 6 would take place in Cleveland on June 16, and Game 7 would be back at Golden State on June 19. Game 5 would be at 8 p.m. ET, while Games 6 and 7 would be at 9 p.m. ET.

During the regular season, the teams split the two head-to-head games. The Golden State Warriors won 112-94 at home on Jan. 9 and the Cleveland Cavaliers won at home on Feb. 26. In the first match-up, J.R. Smith led all scorers with 27 points. LeBron James didn’t play in that game, and the shooters for the Warriors took advantage. Stephen Curry finished with 23 points and 10 assists, while Klay Thompson had 24 points of his own. In the second game, James came out and made a statement with his play. He finished with 42 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and three steals, out-playing the 18 points and six assists from Curry.

Getting to see a Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors series should be a treat for NBA fans. As previously reported on the Inquisitr , though, Kevin Love won’t get the chance to play in his first championship series. Having LeBron James and Stephen Curry on the biggest stage should help ratings quite a bit, likely scoring ABC some pretty nice marks for the television ratings. There is also a lot of time for the network to advertise for when the 2015 NBA Finals schedule finally gets started on June 4.
