Naya Rivera may spill some serious tea for her new memoir. Following in the footsteps of her Glee co-star Lea Michele, Rivera will add the title author to her name, as she plans to write a book all about growing up and of course, guys.
Not a big deal, right? Well, according to Entertainment Weekly , her memoir titled, Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up , will also reveal some behind-the-scenes gossip about the Fox show Glee , which recently went off the air.
Via Publisher’s Weekly , Rivera said her “juicy” memoir will discuss “ Glee , guys, growing up and much more.”
Rivera, who got her start early acting in shows like Family Matters and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air , plans to discuss her first acting jobs, in addition to the odd jobs she took, and what it was like before she landed Glee , which ultimately was her big break into Hollywood.
So what could Naya possibly have to share about Glee ? Plenty. For starters, according to rumors, Naya and Glee co-star Mark Salling (Puck) had an off-screen romance that ended horribly. According to sources, when Mark broke things off with Naya, she decided to retaliate in Carrie Underwood fashion by egging and keying the actor’s very expensive Lexus.
Radar Online reported back in 2010, “Naya and a girlfriend went to a liquor store around 1 a.m. and bought eggs and dog food. They were laughing hysterically the whole time they were in the store. They didn’t seem drunk, they were just being silly.”
At the time, Mark denied the rumors , tweeting that he didn’t even drive a Lexus, which was the car Naya reportedly keyed. That said, the pair did date for a bit when the show started, so perhaps there’s a bit of truth and gossip behind that story?
If that isn’t enough, Naya Rivera and Lea Michele famously butted heads quite a few times throughout Glee’s run. Depending on what side you were on, Lea Michele was either being difficult on set, or Naya was going off on producers , and displaying “erratic” and “unpredictable” behavior on set. Either way, many believe that their clash resulted in Rivera getting a shortened storyline in the final season of Glee .
There’s no telling if Naya Rivera will ever divulge about these two specific instances, but she is telling some Glee gossip, so we’ll have to stay tuned to find out what that might entail.
