Is MTV star Leah Messer facing her “biggest scandal” to date? As Teen Mom 2 season 6 comes to an end later tonight, the MTV star continues to be bombarded with rumors, the latest of which claims she and her ex-husband, Corey Simms, secretly engaged in an affair. On September 24, Rumorfix reported news of the latest rumor, claiming the MTV star “hooked up” with Simms, whose wife Miranda is currently pregnant, in the back of his truck late last year.
Although the exact details of the MTV star’s rumored tryst with her ex, the father of her 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah, aren’t clear, the Ashley’s Reality Roundup offered a few new details . According to the site, the MTV star slept with Simms while she was still married to her now-ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, who, ironically, had alleged she cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, in October of last year.
The site went on to claim that the MTV star’s ongoing feud with Simms’ wife, Miranda, is due to their alleged hookup. The tryst was also noted to have caused the rumored fight between Miranda and the MTV star at the reunion show, which was taped in Los Angeles in July.
Below is what a source told the Ashley ‘s Reality Roundup regarding the MTV star’s rumored affair:
“Corey regrets it, especially since Miranda is pregnant now, but he had been talking to Leah for a while, so they both knew what they were doing. It wasn’t just a random mistake. But Miranda forgave him.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV star shared an odd message on Twitter around the time of her and Simms’ alleged affair, noting that someone in Simms’ marriage wasn’t being honest with the other party. Below is what she told fans , according to Radar Online :
“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say.”
The MTV star also addressed her and Simms’ ongoing custody battle over their twins, claiming she was happy, at least at that point, with proceedings.
