MTV star Leah Messer was reportedly pulled over by police after allegedly being reported by a teacher at the school attended by her 5-year-old twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah. According to a Life & Style report, via Radar Online on September 9, the person who was previously reported as a concerned fellow parent has since been identified as the MTV star’s twins’ teacher .
“A teacher called the cops when she spotted Leah pulling up to the school without the twins in car seats,” a source told the magazine, revealing that authorities in the area trailed the MTV star the following day.
However, when they pulled her over, the MTV star was following the rules and no action was taken against her. That said, Messer’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, is still convinced there is an issue and continues to pursue the full custody of his children.
“Corey definitely wants full custody of his girls.”
The MTV star and Simms have been at odds for the entirety of Season 6 due to his filing for full custody a while ago. On the show, fans have watched as Messer has made a number of questionable decisions as a parent, including a midnight bedtime and a spanking incident with Aleeah. Simms has also claimed the MTV star’s daughter, Aleeah, was once forced to make breakfast for herself and Messer refused to wake up at a reasonable time.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV star’s ex, Simms, has stood by his claims of Messer’s alleged drug problem even after filming Season 6. In a statement to fans at the end of last month, Simms explained why he and his wife, Miranda, believe the MTV star is hiding her reported addiction.
“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”
