There is being wired and then there is just being ridiculous. I get the whole idea of being always connected, even though I don’t agree with the degree with which we go to, but there is seriously something wrong with us if we feel the need to be connected to the point that we end up having something like the LunchCommunicator.
No this isn’t something out of Star Trek but rather the brainchild, or perhaps brainfart, of some Japanese researchers who have combined a plastic lunch container, a touchscreen, and a webcam into one unit.
The idea is that the person making the lunch can record some sort of message or whatever and then the person eating that lunch can play back the message.
Enough already.
