Viewers are anxious for the Wednesday night Season 7 premiere of Modern Family . Spoilers tease that there’s love, chaos, and challenges ahead, and everybody is anxious to get started. What can fans expect from the September 23 premiere?
According to TV Guide , Wednesday night’s episode is titled “Summer Lovin’.” As Season 6 ended, Andy was headed off to propose to Beth, despite having feelings for Haley. Modern Family spoilers tease that the new season picks up right there, and fans can expect a definite shift in the Haley and Andy relationship.
Will Haley and Andy now become a couple and pursue the romance that they’ve been dancing around for so long? Show co-creator Christopher Lloyd teased Modern Family spoilers via Yahoo! TV that this potential relationship will continue to progress slowly as this new season plays out. From the sounds of things, fans will need to continue to have a lot of patience to see where this goes.
Also ahead on Wednesday’s premiere, Cam works to support Mitchell in the wake of his job loss crisis. Money becomes a concern, though, and Modern Family spoilers detail that Cam will concoct a plan to try to get Mitchell back to work at his old gig. However, it doesn’t sound as if he’ll be successful, and this role reversal and job hunt will go on for a bit into the new season.
Viewers will see a slightly aged Joe as Season 7 begins, and teasers indicate that Gloria and Jay will work on finding the perfect preschool for their little guy. In true Modern Family fashion, however, Gloria and Jay will be a bit stunned to see just how hard it is to score a spot at the perfect school. Just how far will they go to get Joe into their desired school?
As Season 7 continues, viewers will see Alex begin college, though the character will still be quite present on the show. Modern Family spoilers note that Phil will be a bit unsettled by how much the dynamic at home is changing as the kids grow older. As for Alex’s college experience, it seems she’ll struggle a bit and deal with some homesickness.
Fans are quite anxious to see what lies ahead in this new season, and it seems it’ll be plenty more of what fans love best about this family. There will be love, chaos, and comedy, and viewers can’t wait to see how it all begins during the Season 7 Modern Family premiere on Wednesday, September 23.
