Season 7 of Modern Family will continue taking a peek inside the lives and loves of an extended family with new situations to explore. When we left the crew at the end of Season 6, Haley has realized her feelings about Andy after finding out that he is going to propose to his girlfriend Beth.
HNGN is reporting that what will keep the dynamic interesting between the two is that they are opposites, and that is how co-creator Christopher Lloyd designed it.
“Maybe a male, potentially a love interest for Haley. What would make that dynamic interesting? What about a guy that’s just good, just so uncynical and guileless that Haley can’t even understand him to be a human being? So that starts the wheels turning.”

But perhaps the big change for Season 7 will be about Mitch and Cam’s relationship, according to Bustle . At the end of last season, Cam finally learns that Mitchell has quit his job , and for the near future, Cam’s job will be supporting the family while Mitchell looks for work, but a new job wasn’t just around the corner. Does Mitchell have what it takes to be a stay-at-home dad?
“My character starts to get a little stir crazy and kind of goes off on a tangent of trying to paint to occupy some of his free time and tap into his artistic side,” actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson revealed. “Then, sort of realizes there’s no money in that. Then, starts picking up random jobs here and there. At one point, [Mitchell’s] actually coaching Lily’s soccer team, but yet [he has] no knowledge of how the game of soccer is played. The writers are giving me a lot of really fun stuff to work with this season, so far.”

Lastly, we will see Alex finally ready to leave for college after graduating high school as co-valedictorian, says Christian Post . Claire and Phil will experience a lot of anxiety about their second child leaving the nest and getting on without them.

And then there is Luke, who has developed a “criminal streak,” according to the network. We will have to wait until the end of the month to find out what these clues mean.
