Miranda Lambert has been dating Anderson East since late last year, and while the 32-year-old country singer rarely speaks of her relationship, she and East have reportedly grown quite close.
In July, 2015, after four years of marriage, Miranda Lambert’s marriage to Blake Shelton came to an end, and months later, Shelton moved on from Lambert with Gwen Stefani, his co-star on The Voice , and Lambert moved on with East. However, while Shelton and his leading have been quite public with their relationship, Miranda and East have been more private.
In January, a short time after reports hit the web, claiming Miranda Lambert was dating the 27-year-old East, she took to Instagram, where she debuted the first photo of her and East together. In the picture, Miranda Lambert was seen cuddling with her alleged new beau, and in the caption, she told fans , “The snuggle is real…”
Three weeks later, Miranda Lambert officially confirmed the new relationship when she revealed she was wearing the hat of her “boyfriend” (a red and white Alabama hat, which is where East is from).

Since then, Miranda Lambert hasn’t shared much on Instagram about her relationship with East, but she did surprise him at a show on Valentine’s Day, where the two engaged in an impromptu performance of Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby,” along with another friend.

Just one day before Miranda Lambert’s performance with East, a source told E! News that the singing pair was already considering a future together.
“They both have discussed wanting kids one day,” a source told E! News . “When they are both not on tour, they are with each other. They video chat or text and keep connected every day.”
Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend have been busy traveling for shows in recent weeks, but they’ve also made time for one another, and, as the source revealed, they’ve both met one another’s close friends and family members. In addition, East has reportedly gotten himself acquainted with Miranda Lambert’s many pets.
“Anderson loves all 15 of [Miranda Lambert]’s animals,” the insider shared. “They both are very into helping make a difference. Miranda is definitely in love with Anderson.”
E! News went on to report that despite the many rumors claiming Miranda Lambert was at war with Stefani over her romance with her ex-husband, a feud between them is far from the truth. In fact, Miranda Lambert reportedly wishes them well and is glad “they are happy.”
“[Miranda Lambert] is in the best place of her life now and looking forward to the future!” the insider added.
On March 10, Movie News Guide reported news of a possible future pregnancy for Miranda Lambert, revealing she was “quite serious” about her romance with the R&B singer.
“It seems Miranda Lambert is quite serious about her relationship with Anderson East. Though the duo met just a few days back, she is not ready to loose East and is already planning a baby!” the report read. “Rumors about Lambert having baby with her R&B singer boyfriend have been doing rounds for quite some time. As per sources, the new couple has made having a baby together part of their relationship goals.”
As Miranda Lambert and East consider their future family, her ex-husband, Shelton, and his girlfriend, Stefani, are preparing for their reunion on The Voice . While Stefani is not appearing as a coach during Season 10, she will return to the show later this season as a mentor for Team Shelton.
