Head on over to your local Microsoft retail store anytime from now until Sunday and renew your AT&T contract and the company will give you your choice of either an HTC Surround or LG Quantum smartphone for free.

T-Mobile customers can also take advantage of a nice deal, the HTC HD7 for just $100 “while supplies last.” Even with the cost, that’s not bad for a phone that typically costs $199.99 with a two-year contract.

Unfortunately with only 7 locations in the U.S., only a handful of customers will have the ability to take advantage of this offer.

Buy One, Get One Free? Free Phones? It’s becoming apparently clear that Microsoft really wants WP7 to take off and they are willing to do whatever it takes early on to make that happen.
