Michael Jackson is back to life. Thanks to a young Iranian refugee, Michael Jackson’s life is being relived in Australia. Abbas Sharhani, a 20-year-old Iranian, left his family and fled Iran at a very young age to seek asylum in Australia due to war-related issues.

He embarked upon this journey by boat to Australia through Malaysia, Indonesia, and was detained for three months at Darwin detention center. Prior to his fame, he had no idea who Michael Jackson was until he found out from the detention Center that he looked like the pop star. This discovery led to a series of events leading to Abbas Sharhani’s drawing the attention of the media and becoming famous all over the web.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Sharhani now makes a living as Michael Jackson impersonator.

As fate will have it, after his release from the detention Center, Abbas started living in Warwick Farm, where he started his research and building a new persona. As reported by the Daily Mail , Sharhani started dressing and straightening his hair like the great legend. He even went as far as getting plastic surgery on his nose just to look like Michael Jackson so he can make a living performing like him.

It turns out that dancing was his passion, and he really enjoyed performing for the Australian fans. Despite the fact that he had become a mini-celebrity, Sharhani feels he is very far away from home and his family, but he takes consolation in performing for people.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald , after watching Michael Jackson’s videos, he just fell in love with him .

“I just loved him so much. I said to myself, ‘I just want to be that guy.’”

He even calls himself Moon Jackson and practiced how to speak like him.

Michael Jackson was a singer-songwriter born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958. As a child, he performed as a lead singer of the Jackson Five. Jackson became one of the most famous internationally renounced pop stars. He died a tragic death in 2009. According to Biography, Michael Jackson’s death stirred a lot of controversy and was eventually ruled a homicide. Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician who was attending to him at that time, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter on November 7, 2011, and later received a four-year prison sentence.

In the meantime, Abbas Sharhani is embarking on a new journey and starting a career as a dancer.
